Camelbak MULE – An awesome hydration pack
The M.U.L.E is a great multi purpose day pack. Originally designed for mountain biking…this compact pack is also great for hiking and mountain running.
I looked at a number of day packs online and found the M.U.L.E to be exactly what I was looking for…the specifications, features and the price for a hydration pack sounded pretty good. When it arrived my initial thoughts were, its too small for hiking but when I started to fill it with my hiking gear I was pleasantly surprised. It holds all the gear I would normally take…raincoat, thermal top, hat, gloves, sunglasses, camera, map, first aid kit, food and holds up to 3 litres of water. Its compact and snug and doesn’t get in your way when its fully loaded. Having fluid on demand is really useful…no need to carry water bottles in your hand or having to stop and get one out of your pack makes the journey a lot easier…Action sports like mountain biking, running and adventure racing this is a real plus. However if your wanting to carry extra gear like a cooker and billy for a cuppa you would definitely need something a little bigger.
Perfect for mountain or trail running has the capacity to carry the required gear for an event.

Thank you for this post! I was trying to find out what foods would be better for my diet than the ones I am eating. At least I eat half of these foods, so I’m on the right track. I still need to try green tea.
Hi Camille, thats great and thanks for the feedback. Green tea is full of antioxidants, so swapping a cup or two of coffee, your immune system will thank you for it 🙂
